As an undergraduate, I attended Northeastern University. I received my BS in Psychology with a minor in Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies and a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. My honors thesis was entitled, "Body Dissatisfaction Following Exposure to Media Images: The Role of Photoshopping." | |

After receiving my bachelor's degree, I worked as a community residence counselor at the Klarman Eating Disorders Center at McLean Hospital. Then, I moved to Philadelphia to work as a research coordinator at Drexel University in the WELL Center under the direction of Dr. Meghan Butryn. | |

I completed my PhD in clinical psychology under the mentorship of Dr. Aaron Blashill at the San Diego State University / University of California San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. My disseration was entitled, "Stress as a spectrum: Associations of stress and trauma with disordered eating." | |

I completed an APA-accredited internship through Charleston Area Medical Center. I primarily saw patients with disordered eating and emotion regulation difficulties. |
