About Me
Currently, I am a psychology resident in the West Virginia University/Charleston Area Medical Center Doctoral Internship Training Program. I am primarily seeing patients with disordered eating and emotion regulation difficulties.
I am also a 6th year doctoral candidate at the San Diego State University/University of Calfornia San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology advised by Dr. Aaron Blashill. I defended my dissertation in May 2023, focused on on the overlap of chronic stress, traumatic events, posttraumatic stress symptoms, and eating pathology.
Experience
As an undergraduate, I attended Northeastern University. I received my BS in Psychology with a minor in Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies and a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. My honors thesis was entitled, "Body Dissatisfaction Following Exposure to Media Images: The Role of Photoshopping." | ||

After receiving my bachelor's degree, I worked as a community residence counselor at the Klarman Eating Disorders Center at McLean Hospital. Then, I moved to Philadelphia to work as a research coordinator at Drexel University in the WELL Center under the direction of Dr. Meghan Butryn. | ||
I am currently working on my PhD in clinical psychology under the mentorship of Dr. Aaron Blashill at the San Diego State University / University of California San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. My research focus is on the intersection of stressors - including discrimination, traumatic stress, and others - on the development and course of eating pathology. | ||
I am currently completing my APA-accredited internship through West Virginia University / Charleston Area Medical Center. I am primarily seeing patients with disordered eating and emotion regulation difficulties. |
